"La Grange" model

Sous titre

The La Grange model is the result of work carried out by a group of researchers during the Collective Scientific Expertise (Esco) project entitled ‘Roles, impacts and services provided by livestock farming in Europe’. Conducted by INRAE at the request of the French Ministries of Ecology and Agriculture and ADEME, this collective expertise focuses on European livestock farming systems and their products. Their roles, economic, social and environmental impacts, and the market and non-market services they provide to society were analysed on the basis of a major international bibliographic review. The results also suggest levers for action for the various livestock farming systems.
